“Ami” means friend in French.
In Japanese, “ami（編み）” also evokes the idea of weaving, connecting, and expanding relationships.

“Mer” means sea in French.
The sea accepts, embraces, and circulates all things without distinction.

穏やかで静かな海のような存在で、波は荒れず、誰も拒まず、ただそこに在り、全てを優しく受け入れる。焦らなくてもいい、競わなくてもいい、それぞれのペースで進めばいい。そんな社会を目指し法人を立ち上げました。

Representative Director
Hello, I’m Amane Sudo, the Representative Director of Ami la Mer.
I founded Ami la Mer with the belief that everyone should be able to move forward at their own pace, without pressure to rush or compete with others.
Inspired by the calm and welcoming nature of the sea, I hope to create a society where people are accepted for who they are and where diverse individuals can connect, support one another, and grow together.
Through Ami la Mer, I work to connect people, communities, and ideas, creating opportunities for participation, collaboration, and positive social impact.
My goal is to build a compassionate and inclusive society where everyone can find their place and contribute in their own unique way.
